AP PROV I NG A:"-JD ADOPT I NG PLANS FOR A NEW WALKWAY

WHEREAS.~ Article VIII of the Ch~uter of the City of Palo Alto and Section
22.08.005 of the Palo Alto ~·\unicipal Code require that before any substantial
bui 1 di rig , cons t.ruc t ion, r econ~: t nic t ion or deve l oprne nt is com me need or approved
upon or which t"espect t:o any land lH:ld by the City for park purposes, the
Council shall first C'1use to be prepa.n:d o.nd by ordin,)nce approvf:.~ and adopt a
plan therefor; and
WHEHEASr the C'ity Ccuncil did by Ot'dinance No. 2252 1 adoptf~d September
13, 1965, place Hampton Park (Weisshaar Park) on the list of lands used or in
tended to be used for park purposes; ~ nd
WHEREAS, the Council de~>ires to <11 low construction of a new walkway
