ORDINANCE O:? THE COUNCIL OF TllE" CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1980-81 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 79-04 "ROOF REPAIRS -CITY FACIL1TI£S"
AND TO DE:CRF.ASE FUNDING IN CAPITAL IMPHOVBt"!.E:N'l'
PROJECT NO, 78-11 "EXIT DEVICES -CITY FACILITIES"
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June
23, 1980~ did adopt a budget for fis~al year 1980-81; and
WHEREAS, Capital Improvement Project No. 79-04 has been es
tabU.shed for "Roof Repairs -City Facilities" and Capital Im
provement Project No. 78-11 has been established for ~Exit Devices
-City FacilitiesN: and
WHERBASv the City of Palo Alto wishes to contract with Shel
ton Roofing for roof repairs at the Municipal Service Center; and
WHEREAS, suffichmt funds are r.ot available in Project No.
7~-04 to perform the desired improvements and surplus funds are
avai.Jable from completed Project No. 78-11;
NOWr 'I'l-1EREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Seven Thousand Pive Hundred Eighty-one
Dollars {IT,""S"B ·1) is appropriated to Capt t11i Improvement Projt:•ct
No. 79-04 nRoof Repairs -City Facilities" and the al?prop1:-iatior.
for Capital Improvement Project No, 78-11 '1Exit Devices -~ City

SEC'I'.ION 2. Th~~ Counci 1 finds that this is not a projl~~:t for.

ronmental assessment ls necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
as provide-a-In Section 12 of ~rticle III of the Charter and Sec
tion 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
