ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE RUDGET FOR FISCAL YEl\R 19 80·-81 TO
PROVIDE I"UNDING FOR 1rHE REPAIR OF A POWER TRANSFORMER
WHEHEAS, pursuant to the f:rovisions of Section 12 of Article III of
the Charter of the City of Palo Alto! the Council on June 23, 1980, did
adopt a budget for fiscal year 1980-81: and
WHEREAS, a power transformer at the Colorado Power Sta.ticn ht.H> suffered
damc.ge due to an equipment fail ur:e; a :nd
WilCREli.S, funds for repair or replacement of this equ.i pment is p~:ovidcd
for in the Rese r:ve for Em12rgency Plant Replacement; and

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo 1"\lto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000)
is appropriat'ed to the Acquisition and Construction subpr-ogram of t'.1e
Electric Fund as follows:
Acquisition and Construction:
Utilities System Purchases $220r000
SECTION 2. This appropriation is subject to adjustment by the City
Controller based upon final cost of transformer repair.
SECTION 3o The Council finds that this is not a project for purposes
of the Cal i-fo1=n ia .8nv i ronrnen tal Qua 1 i ty Act and no env i ronrnen tal assessment
is necessary •
