ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY' OF PALO ,\I.TO
AMENDING THE BUDGET 10R THE FISCAL YEAR 19.7i""80 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 79~99 "WAVERLEY BIKE/PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
EROSION CONTROL~
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions ot Section 12 of Article
III of t.he Charter ot the Ci'ty of i'~lo Alto, tile Council on June
18, 1979, d:i:d adopt a budget for the t.i:B'cal year 19.79-80~ and
WHERE.AS, Capital l-mprovement Project 79-99 has been established
for ~waverley Bike/Peclaatrian Bridge EroS'ion Control~; and
WHEREAS, the. bri:dge . .is in need of :i:nimedii!lte :repair due to
erosion problems and sutf icient funds are not available in the
project for corrective action; and
WHEREAS, th.e City of i>alo Al to w:l:sb.es to oC'nt:ract with. the
City of Menlo Park. and the. Sant'l Clara Valley 'Nater District for
erosion control ill'\p:::ovements·,
