ORDINANCE NO. 3200 ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80 TO PROVIDE FUNDS l::<"'OR THE RESIDENTIAL ENERGY CONSERVATION PROGRAM l\ND TO PROVIDE FOR THE RECEIPT OF GRANT FUNDS FROM THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA POWER AGENCY WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo .~lto, the Council on June 18, 1979, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-80; and WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to enter into an agreement with the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) whereby the City w:i.11 cont.i.nue its resjdential conservat.ion program, evaluate the proc;ram results-. and develop an evalu,'ltion model for use by other NCPA utilities; and WHEREAS, the Northern Cal.if ornia Power Agency has h;ade available Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($19,000) in grant funds for this project; NOW, THEREFO.RE, the Council o:E -l_he City of Pa.lo Alto do~s ORDAIN as fol.LOWS: SECTION 1. The sti.m of Nineteen Thousand Dollars ( $19, 000) is app:-:·o·pri:ated to the: Reso•u~ce Conservation subprogram of the Electric Utility as follows: -Temporary Salaries -Technical Services $15,000 $ 4,000 and estimated revenue is corr~spondingly increased to reflect receipt of grant funds from the Northern California Power Agency. SECTION 2. An env·ironmental assess:rnent has been conducted and the Council finds that this project will not have an adverse e~viron­ rnental impact. SECTION 3. Thii:i ordinance shall become effective immediately a~ proviaecr-rn·section ~2 of Article III of the Charter and Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Mvnicipal Code.
