THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY CO?·u-!ISSION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 18,
1979, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-80; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto desires to contract for the
development of a grant application to the Urban ~lass Transportation
Administration to provide funds for partial implemcntdtion of the

SECTION 1. ·The surn of Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-nine
Dollars-·( $9~ 9 29) is appropriated to the Transportat ~.on Division of
the Planninq and Conummity Environment Depar1.:mcmt as follows:

of grant funds from the California Energy Conunission.
SECTION 2. An environmental assessment has been conducted and
the Counc1l f1nds that the proposed project will not have an adverse
envi.ronmental impact.
SECTION 3. ·rhis ordinance shall become effect t vc immediately
as prov~ded ~n Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Al.to Municipal Code.
