ORDINANCE QH' THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
Al·!ENDING CHAPTER 8. 08 OF THE PALO ALTO I•IDNICIPAL
CODE TO REFLECT THE TRANSFER OF RESPONSIB'J.LJ.TY FOR
WEED ABATEMENT TO THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
The Councll of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION !:_. Chapter 8.08 (Heed Abatement) of the PaJ~ Alto
Municipal Code is hereby amended by changing the term "Di".rector
of Inspectional Services" wherever it appears in said Chapter to
read "Director of PubliC': Works."
SECTION 2. The Council find& that adoption of this ordinance
is uotupro}ect under the California Ernrironmental Quality Act
and, therefore, no environmen~al impact assessment is necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effe~tive upon the
connnencemcni:of the thirty-first day after the d~·v of its passage.
