"DIMENSIONS I<'OR PARALLEL PARKING .S~ACES
"The parallel parking space dimensions for
standard-size cars shall be a minimum of 3.0
meters ( 10 feet) wide and 7. 3 meters ( 24 feet)
long. The parallel parking space dimensions for
small (compact) size cars shall be 3.0 mete~~
(10 feet) wide and 6.l meters (20 feet) long.
The end parking space for either size of ca~ may
be only 6.1 meters (20 feet) long. The clear
aisla width, exclusive of the width of the
paralh~l parking space, shall be 6. l met,ers {20
feet) for two-way and 3.7 meters (12 f~et) for
one-way."

facility design, internal layo1lt, acceptable turning
radii and pavement slope, vehicular and pedestrian
circ11lation, and other design features may be adopted
by the Director of Planning and Convaunity Environ

'I'ransportation may require cross-aisles within parking
facilitiAS where nec~ssary to prevent safety hazards
and vehicular congestion on public streets which might
be created by vehicles utilizing public streets to
travel between aisles or from one section of the

SECTION 5 • Section la. 88. 090 (a) is amended, to read:

this Title, shall be subject to the termination
provisions of this section as though no exception
