ORDINANCE NO. 3180 0~·. -;-I NANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF TilE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AM£ND!NG THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80 TO
PROVIDE FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A RICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN
PATH ON ARASTRADERO ROAD
WHERFAS; pnr~u~mt to the provisions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Cha~ter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June
18, 1979, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-80; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to construct a bicycle/pedestrian
path on Arastradero Road between De~r Creek and Purissima; and
WHEREAS, the City has been notified that full funding hae been
approved by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for this
project through Transportation Development Act funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTIUN 1. Project No. 79-65 "Arastradero Road Bicycle/
Pedestrian!>cith" is established in the 1979-80 Capital Improvement
Program.
SECTION 2. The sum of Ninety-sevi~n Thousand Dollars ($97, 000)
i~ appropriated to Project No. 79-65 :·Arastradero Road Bicycle/
Pedestrian Path" and estimated revenue is correspondingly i.ncreased.
SECTION 3. An environmental assessment has been conducted and
thE Council finds that thie project will not have a significant
adverse er1virorunental impact.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective inunediately
as provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
