ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING 'TirE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 197 9-80 'I'O
PROVIng ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR INSTALLATION OF A FENCE
AT ONE END OF THE GOLF COURSE DRIVING RANGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provi.;>ions of Section 12 of Article
III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 18,
1979, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1979-80; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto wishes to provide funds for
installing a high fence at the end of the Golf Course Driving Range
to protect golfers on the lOth green and fairway;
NOW, THEREFORE, tlw Council of the City of Palo Alto does
ORDAIN aa follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Fifteen Thous~1.nd Tvw Hundred Dollars
($15,200) ls appropriated to Project 79-41, nGolf Course Driving
Range Fence" and the Reserve :fo:c General Contingency i~-' cor res ...
pondingly decrea~ed.
SECTION 2. The Council h~reby finds that the adoption of this
ordinance wi.lf not have a significant adver-se impact ott the envi.con
ment.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective .irrrrne.diately
as provided iri Secti6n 12 o£ Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 o£ the Palo Alto Hunicipal Cod\3.
