AM AL>ulTIOHAl APPROPRIATIOH FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 87-07,
"DRIHNG RANGE FENCE ALONG THE TENTH FAIRWAY"
WHERE~S, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III of the
Charter of the City of Palo .1\lto. the Councll on June 22. 1987 did adopt a budget
for fiscal year 1987-88; and
.IH£KEAS, tne City Council has appropriated funds for Capital Improvement
Project 87-07, ~Driving Range Fence Along The Tenth Fairway"; and
~HEI<EAS, oids nave been received for CIP Project 87-07. !)ids are higher
t.'la.n the budgeted functing for CIP 87-07 due to adverse soil conditions requiring

~HER£AS, bids for f;!ncing nldterials include favorable fence rates; and
MHER£AS, ctue to favorable fence rates, it would be economically
advantageous to the City to fund addi tiona 1 fencing for the golf course driving
rdnge fence. which was originally planned to be submitted to Council as part of a
Capital liTiprovea.ent Project for the 1988-89 fiscal year.
NOt~~. TH£~EFOKE, the Council of the City of Palo Al.to does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The St.lll of Eighty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($88,500)
is appropr1ated to the Capital Improvement Project No. 87~07~ "Driving Range
Fence Along the Tenth F11trway; ana ttM! Reserve for Capital Projects is
correspon~ingly decreased.
SECTION z. Capital I~~provement Project 87-07 is hereby modified to include
addi tiona 1 fenci~g for the golf course driving range.
SECTJOH 3. The Council finds that this is not a project for purposes of the
Ca 11 fornia Enviro~nta 1 QIJa 11 ty Act and, therefore. no environmental impact
assesSMent is neces~ary.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as provided 1n
Section 12 of Art1cle III of the Charter and Section 2.04.375 of the Palo AltO
Municipal Code.
