ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL -:::0:-::F~T~H-::E-C=IT~Y:::-.OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 4.32.110 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO CHANGE THE PROHIBITED HOURS ~R SOLICITATION
OF INFORMATION FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES TO SIX P.M.,
UNTIL NINE A.M.
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4. 32 ~ 110 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
4.32Q110 Hours of solicitation. No person
shall solicit information from e~~h~ six p~m. to nine
a.m~; provided, ho·¥iever, a solicitor may call upon
the occupant of a residence during such hours when he
has received express prior permission from such
occupant to do so.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that this ordinance will
have no s1gnificant adverse environmental impact.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon the
commencement of the thirty-first day after the day of its
passage.
