The Council of the City of Pdlo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:

Title 12 ot the Palo Alt0 ~unicip•l C~je by Establishing Underground
Utility District No. 3D in $did City and by said Resolution appointed

in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 250 Ha~ilton Avenue, Palo Alto,

NOW, THERE~ORE., IT IS t-"'OUNO, D8'fERMI.Nl:W and ORD~RED, as
follows:
SECTION 1. The public necessity, health and satety ~:equire the
removal of poles and overt1ead 1 ines and associated overhead
str-uctures fr-om that certain area described 1n Resolution No. 6530.
SBCTION 2. Section 12.16.020 of Chapter 12.16 of Title 12 of
the Palo Alto Municipal Code is amended by adding Subsection {30)
thereto, said Subsection (30) to read as follo~s:
•(JO) District No. 30. All lands within the
City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara,
bounded by san Francisquito Creek, Island Drive,
Hamilton Avenue, Center Drive, Dana Avenue,
Alester Avenue and Jackson Drive: removal ninety
(90) days after completion and ~cceptance of the·
work."
SECTION 3. The ftUnderground Utility District Map• referred to
in said Sect1on 12.16.020 shall be amended to add to the areas shown
on the map referred to in said Resolution No. 6530.

S~CTION 4. This Ordinance shall beco~e eftecti~e upon the
expi~ation of thirty {30) days f~om it~ passage.
