ORDINANCE Of THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY <F PAlO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL Y£AR 1986•87 TO PROYtOE
AN APPROPRIATION FOR PARK SUPERVISION AT ELEANOR, MITCHELL AMO RIC3NA~ PARKS
Wt1t.Kt:.A~, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III of the
(.~~~~rte~ of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 23, 1986 did adopt a ouctget
for fisca1 year 1986-87; and
WHEREAS~ the overcrowding and overuse of city pan. facilities is of concern
to the City Counci 1; and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's long term interest to preserve park
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Council believes additional park supervision should help
monitor park usage.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Ci~ of Palo Alto does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The SU!Jl of Si.~ Thousand Dollars ($6,000) 1s appropr1rt ted to
Employee Services fn the Resource Manageaent Program of the P~rlts Division. The
sum of Seven Thousand Five-Hundred Dollars ($7.500) is appropriated to Eaployee
Services in. the Facilities Operations Prograa of the Re-creathm Oivhfon. The
Reserve for Capi~1 Proj~cts fs appropriately decreased~
SECTION 2. T~ COuncil finds that th1s is not a project for purpo~s of the
california· Environmental :Quality ,Act and. theref~~ no env1~ntaJ 1IJII*Ct
assessment 1S necessary. · ··
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall becoae effecti~ haed1ate1y as provided in
·Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Sect'~ 2.04.315 of the Palo Alto
Municival Code.-
