AMENDING THE BUOGET FOR nt£ fiSCAl tt.AA 1986 ... 87 TO PROVIDE
AN ADDlTIOMAL. APPROPRIATION fOR ll£ TRANSPORTATIOtt fHYISION
AND TO PROVIDE FOR TilE R!CE!PT OF COUNTY FUNDS
WHEREAS, pursuant tD the provisions of Section 12 of Article II I of the
Charter of the City of Pa 1 o Alto, the Council 011 June 23, 1986 did adopt a budget
for fiscal year 1986~87; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto funds a paratransit service for mobility
impaired citizens known as Project Mobility; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara has agreed to provide an additional Ten
Thousand Two-Hundred Dollars ($10j200) 1n grant funding for Project Mobility for
1986-87.
NOW, THEREFORE~ the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ordain <!S
follows:
SECTION l. The s• of Ten Thousand Two-Hundred Dollars ( $10.200} 1s
appropriated tc the 11Grants and Subsidies• sub-object category w1thfn the
Transpor~tfon Service PrograM Qf the Transportation Division. The •Project
Mobility/Grant-revenue sub-object category wt thin the .Transportation Services
PrograM of the Transportation Oi•tsfon is correspondingly increased by Ten
Thousand Two-Hundred Dollars ($10.200) to reflect .the receipt of County grant
funds.
SECTION 2. The .Council finds that thfs is not a project fo7" purposes of the
Ca11fornfa Environental Quality Act and, ttle..-efore" no environaental illpact
assessMent is necessary.
SECTION 3. This ordinance .. shall beto~~e effectf~ 1~iately as provided in
Section 12 of ~ticle Ill of the Charter and Section 2.04.375 of the Palo Alto
Municipal Code. ·
