ORDINANCE NO. 3728
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1986-87 TO ESTABLISH
ANO PROV IDE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR THE HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAM
AND THE PALO ALTO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT/YOUTH COUNSELING PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Sec ti on 12 of Article II I of the
Charter of the City of Palo Alto. th~ Council on June 23, 1936, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1986-87; and
WHEREAS, the Co1.Hccil of the City of Palo Alto has established the City of
Palo Alto/Palo Alto Unified School District Youth Counseling Project within the Human Services Contract 'Admi ni s tra tion Di vision; and
WHEREAS. on October 4, 1986, the Counci 1 of the City of Pa 1 o Al to voted to
provide funding for the City of Palo Alto/Palo Alto Unified School District Youth
Counseling Project to provide counseling for secondary students; and
NOW. THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) fs appropriated to Specia1 Expenses in the Human. Services Contract Division~
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this fs not a project ~r the
California Environmental Quality Act, (lnd, ·therefore, , no enviromrental ••ct
asses-sment f s necessary.
SECTION 3. This or(finance shall become effect1 ve fmediate1y as provided in
Section 1~ of Artf cle II I of the Charter and Section 2 :04.375 of the Palo Al to · Municipal Code.
