SERVICES· /j •• ' ,.,: WHEREAS, pursuant to.·the·provisicmsof.Sec~ion 12 of Artict'e'III· .. of the Charter of the Ci~y of Palo Alto, the Council on J4ne ·24f·'J~.~~.~.1·.' did adopt a budget for fisc.al year 1985-86; and . . ~ . . . -~ ·.·. WH.EREAS, the City organiztion has a new accounting sta:ffj and . . ' WHEREAS, the external auditors believe that additional accounting services wi 11 be necessry to close the 1985-86 books and prepare· for the annual audit! NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1$ The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars {$30,000) is appro­ priated to Professional Services of the Accounting Dtvision in the Finance Department and the Reserve for Capital Projects is correspond­ ingly decreased. SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a project for pur­ poses of the California Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no environmental assessment is necessary. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as provided in Section 12 o:.· Article III of the. Charter and Section 2.04.375 of tl:le Pal<;> Alto .Municipal Code. INTRODUCED AND PASSED:.
