ORDIN:~CB Of' THE COUNCIL OF TBB CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR TtiE FISCAL YEAR 198 5~86 TO ..
PROVIDE AH ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR CAPIT~L
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 83-22 •aRYANT STREET BICYCLE
BRI'OG£" AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE RECE.IPT OF GRANT FUNDS •
FROM THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTA'rlON COMMISSION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 2A, 1985,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1965-86; and
WHEREAS, Capital I11provement Project No. 83-22 has been estab
lished for the Bryant Street Bicycle Bridge; and
WHEREAS, the design of the bridge has caused construction costs to
increase; and
WHEREAS, coMpleted Capital Improvement Projects No. 83-21 •suild
ing Flooding• and No. 84-12 •civic Center Air Inta~~e" have residual
funds remainin9; and
WHEREAS, additional funding has been provided by the Metropolitan
Transportation Commission for additional construction costs;
NOW, THER&:;FORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
