ORDINANCE OF ·r~E COUNCIL or TH'8 ,CITY or PALO ALTO AMENDING
PALO AL1'0 ·r.1UNICl?AL CODE §10. 64.240 TO PROHIBIT THE USE
OF SKATEBOARDS IN CITY OF PALO ALTO l?ARKING FACILITIES
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 10.64.240 of the Palo Alto Municipal Cod~ is
hereby amended to read as follows:
•10.64.240 Use of coasters, roller skates,
skateboards and similar devices. No persons upon
roll e:t· skates o:t· r .id ing in or by means of any
coaster, skateboard, toy vehicle or similar device
shall go upon any roadway .2E..._~on any City owned,
_operated, or controlled eark ing lots, gat·aqes, 01'
ot.her parking facilities_.,
SECTION 2. The Council finds that none of the provisions of this
o:t:dinance-will have a significant environmental impact.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upo~ the
colnmencement of the thirty-first day after the day of its passage.
