ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY Of' PALO ALTO
EXTENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3502 REGARDING OFF-STRE:~~T
PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS IN A SPECIFfED AREA
OF DOWNTOWN PALO ALTO
WHEREAS, the City Council has extendect the development mora
toria imposed on the downtown area until September 30, 1986r and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to extend Ordinance No. 3502
regardin~ off-street parking ana loading regulations in the down
town area to coincide with the expiration of the development
moratoria.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo ~.lto does
ORDAIN as follows;
SECTION 1. Section 7 of Ordinance No. 3502 is hereby amended
to read:
SECTION 7. Unless the Council adopts an ordinance
to eitand, modify or amend the provisions of this ordi
nancev the additions, amendments and deletions of the
Palo ~lto Municipal Code contained in sections 11 2, 3
and 4 of ordinance No. 3502 shall be repealed without
further action of the Council at midnight, September 30,
1986.
SECTION 2. The Council intends this to be an extension of
the provisions of Ordinance No. 3502 in accordance with its te':z::ms.
SECTION 3. The Council finds that none of the provisions of
this ordinance will have a significant environmental impact.
SECTION ,4. This ordinance shal,.1 become effective. upon the,
commencement of the thirtv-first day after the day of its passage.
