WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 24, 1985,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1985-86: and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 1985, the Council of the City of Palo Alto
voted to enter into an agree•ent for the acquisition of the Palo Alto
Board of Realtors Building to pro"t'ide for possible construction of a
public parking structure, or mixed-use structure invol vinq public ,park
!ng and other uses.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
a.:J follows:
SECTION 1. Capital Iaprove.ent Project No-SS-22 is hereby estab
lished for Acquisition of the Palo Alto Soard of Realtot:s Building.
SECTION 2. The sua of Six Hundred Ttd.i:'ty Thousand Dollars
($630,000) is-appropriated to Capital Improveaernt Project Ho. 85-22

for Capital Projects is r;orrespondingly.decreaoed,
