. AM~NDING. THE BUDGET 1?'0~ THE .FISC.AL YEAR 1984-85. TO .
PROVIDE AN · APPROPRIAT~pN . F.OR PAYMENT OF CUa~E:RLY
FIELDS LEASE

WBBRBAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Artici~ .I,II
of the Charter of the Cit:.y of Palo Alto, the Council on June 25, 1'984, ....
did aJopt a budget for fiscal year 1984-85; and · . ·
WHEREAS, the Counc i 1 of the City of Palo Alto approved a lease ~: . ;,.
with the Palo Alto Unified School Distri.ct on January 14, 1985, for the
use of Cubberley athletic fields1 and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds do not currently exist within the Public
Works Department's operating budget for payment of the rent for said
lease;
NOW., THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follow~:
SECTION 1. The sum of Thirty Thousand rnllars ( $30,000) is appro~·
priated for: General Expense in the Administration and G'7•neral Program
of the Parks and Open Space Division and the Reserve for Capital Pro
jects is correspondingly dect'e~\s~d.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that thif!. is not a project for pur-,
poses of CEQA ~nd, therefore, no environmental impact asses~&ment is
n~essary .• ' .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effec.t(ve immediately as p~ovided ·in Section 12 of Article ... rri ··of th0 .. Charter and· seeti~R,· .
