ORDINANCE NO. 3617
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF "T'iiEC"IT"t OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE SUOGBT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 TO
PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATlON FOR CAPITAL
IMPRCVBMENT PROJECT·NO. 84-06 "SURPLUS SCHOOL SITES~

WHEREAS. pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Artic1• · ll:I ·
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto. the Council on June 25, 198~,
did adopt a budqet for fiscal year 1984-85; and c ••
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved an agret!ment for the pur
chase of certain school sites; and
WHEREAS, irrigation improvements are necessary to tie into exist
ing utiliti€s; and
WHEREAS, unused funds exist in Capital Improvement Project No.
84-09 "Surplus School Sites• to cover a pot:'tion of. the irriga~ion
improvement costs.
NOW, 'l'liEREFORE, tt1e Counc~i of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as .Eollo'tts;
SECTION 1. The sut~ of Ninety-five Thousand Two Hundred Dollars
(~95,200) 1s appropriated to Capital Improvement Proj~ct Nc. 84-06
lltsurplus School Sites• and the Reserve for Capital Projects is corre-
spondingly decreased. ·
St:CTIOW 2. The Council f iJ}ds that this project is categorically
exe•pt for pur:-pos~s of CEQ" and, therefore, no environllent~l· iapact:
a$sess~ent ,is necessary.
SECTION 3. 'l'his ordinance shall beCOMe. effective imaediately as· .
provided in Section 12 ot· Article II::·': of the Charter and Section,,
2.04 .. 375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
