ORDINANCE-OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FO.R THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 TO
PROVIDE AN APPROPRIATION FOR AUDIT SERVICES IN THE
CI'rY AUDITOR'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the pro,~.tsions of Section 12 of Article II.t
of the Charter of the City of Pa1o Alto, the Council on June 2~, 1984~
did ado~t a budget for fiscal year 1984-851 and
WHEREAS, an external audit of·'the City's financial records is re
quired annually~ and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds for contracting the 1984-85 audit are
not contained in the current operating budget;
NOWr THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does OtillAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Fifty-three Thousand One Hundred Dollars
($53f100) is appropriated to Professional Services in the City Audi
tor's Off'ice and the Reserve for Capital Projects is correspondingly
decreased.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a proiect for pur
posesof the California Env.ironment.al Quality l:ct and1 therefore, no
•nvironment~l assessment is necessary.
SECTION 3. . This ordinance ::;hall become effective i-ediately as
provided iusection 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.0·4.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
