ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET· fOR 1'HE FISCAL YEAH 1984-.85 TO
PROVIDE ~N APPROPRI.,TlON FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A
POWER TRANSFORMER
WHEREAS.., pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article Iti .. •·
of tne Charter of the City of Palo Alto. the Council on June 25t 1984~ ·
did adopt a budget for fiscal yeac 1984-85; ana
WHEREAS, ~ power transformer at the East Meadow Power Station has
tailed and is ~rrepairable~ and
WHEREAS, funds tor ~eplacement of this equipment are provided for
in tne Reserve for ~~ergenc~ Plant Replacement in the Electric ~und.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of falo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. '!'ne sum of One Hundred Forty-three Thousand Five B.un
dt:ed seventy-one Dollars {$143,571) is appropriated to the Acquisition
and Construction Program of the Electric Fund for Util1ties System Pur
chases, and the Reserve for Emergency Plant Replacement in the Electri.c
Fund is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION ~w The Council finds ~hat this is not a project for pur
poses of the California Environmental Quality Act and no environmental
assessment is necassary.
SECTION J. •rnis ordinance shall be;coJie effective :immediately as
provided 1n Section 12 of Art.icle Ill of the Charter and Section
2-04.375 of the Palo Alto Muhicipal Code.
