APPROVING AND A.DOPTINli PLANS r'OH A r'IRE fACILITY
WIT~IN FOOTHILLS PARK
WHEREAS, Article VIII of the Charter of the City of Palo \lto and
Section 22.08.005 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code require that before
any substantial buildiny, construction, reconstruction, or development
is commenced or approved, upon or with respect to any land held by the
City for. park purposes, the Council shall [i"Cst cause to be prepared

WHEREAS, the City Council did by Ordinance 2252, adopted in 1965,
place Foothills Park, and additions to Foothills Park ("foothills

Architectural Review Board and the Planniny Cornmissior\, and approved by
thd City Counci!, pursuant to Chapter 1~.82 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code (Site and Design Review); and
