O'lniNANCP. OF TR~ COUNCIL OF 'l'RE CITY OF 'PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE PISCAL YEAR 1984-85 TO
ESTABLISH AND PROVIDE AN APPROPRIATION FOR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 84-30 •ARASTRA IMPLEffENTATION
PLAN•
WHEREAS, putsuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III·
;of the Charter\of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 25, 1984,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1984-85; and
WHEREAS, the Council approved plans for opening the Arastra prop
~rty to the public~ and
WHEREAS, Arastra property facility repairs and additions related
to the residence, fences, signs, and parking lot are n~cessary prior to
staffing the facility and opening the park to the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN

SECTION 1. Capital Improvement Project No. 84-30 is hereby estab-ll lishe~r the Arastra Iw.pl~mentation Plan.

jects is correspondingly decreased.
SECTIOt~ 3~ As a ·majority of the work is mcdnteraance, no environ
mental assessment is required. However, a full environmental reviev of·
the parking lot construction will occur as part of the ~ite ar.d design
precess.
SECTION · 4. This ordinance shall become .effective· iidedi,ately as.
provided in Section 12 of A~ti~le III. of the Charter ana Section
2.04.375 of th~ Palo Alto Municipal Code.
