FROM WESTERN AREA POWER ADMINISTRATION ' ,'l WB£R£AS, pursuant to tn• provisions of section 12 of Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 25, 1984~' did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1984-85; and WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto has established a conservation and solar progr~ within the Electric Utility; and WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto has been awarded funding f~om the westet'n !u:·ea Power Adatinist~ation fot: economic analyses for conserva­ tion and renewable energy technol~i.es; ~ow, THEREfORE, the counc·il of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The swa of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) is appro­ priat.ed to the Conservati<:.>a and Solar Program of the Electric Utili~y and esti~aated l'~venue is correspondingly increased t.o reflect the receipt vf ~evenue froa the Western Area Power Administration. SECTION 2. The Council finds that ~his project is categorically exeapt for p~rposes of the California Environmental Quality Act and no t!nvironaent~l assessaent i$ necessary. :, , SECTIOH 3.
