ORDINANCE OF TdE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PAt.O ALTO
TERMINATING THE MORATORIU.t-t ON THE PROCESSING OF
APPLICATIONS PCR CONSTRUCTING.NEW SQUARE FOOTAGE IN
PORTIONS OF THB GM AREA ON PARK BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3526 enacted by· the City Council on April
30, 1~84 imposed a moratorium for six months on the processing of a~
P l icat ions for constructing new square footage in t11e GM. Area on Pc.ck
Boulevard: and
WHf;REAS, the City Council after studying the impacts of the cur
rent zoning regulations on the future development or the a~~a has
rezoned portions of the area to GM(B)1 and
WHl:.:REA5, it is no longer necessary for the present mor.atorium to
be in effect for portions of the area;
NOW p TliEREFOkE, the Counc i 1 of the City of Palo .>.l to does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. The moratorium established by Ordinance No. ~~2~ for
the GM Areaon Pcu.:·k Boulevard is hereby terminated upon the effective
date of this ordinance for the properties shown on the map attached ,
hereto as Exhibit A. ·
SECTION 2. The Coun,..;il finds that none of the provisions of this ·· ·
ordinance w:i 11 have a significant e1·1vironmental impact.
SECTION l. This ordinance ,shall become effective upon the co~".'"
•enceaunt of the thirty-first day.after the day of it~ passage.
