ORDINANCE NO. 3500
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMEN.DING THE SUDGET FOR TH.€ FISCAL '.iEAR 1983-84 TO
ESTABLISH AND PROVIDE FUNDS FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 83-24 "'REFUS~; f:IACILI'rIES IMPROVEMENTS"'
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of ALticle !I!
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Co:.lr;cil ~:-: .;~.:.:-::: ~:. 1983,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1983-84; and
'WHB~~t;AS, the City Counc i 1 desires to 1:rnke improvements to the
PASCO yard which include additional parking and bin storage, a chain
link fence around the perimeter of the expansion area, and a land
scaping buffer\around the parking acea; and
WHEREAS, City staff ha.E. selected the lowest responsible bidder,
pending Council approval, to commence work on the project1
NOW, '!'HEREFORE, the Co1Jncil of the-City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1, Capital Improvement Project No. 83-24 is hereby estab
ltshed for iRifuse F&cilitics Improvements."
SECTION 2. The sum of One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
( $ 00 ,000) in appropriated to Capital Improvement Project No. 8 3-24
"Refuse Fae il it ics Improveroents • and the Ref us~ Systems Improvement
fund is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 3. The Council finds that this project will have no
significant environmental impact.
SBCTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as
ptoviaed1n Sect ion 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Codi~.
