ORDINANCE NO. 3484
ORDINANCE OF THE CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING CHAPTER 4.30 (SOLICITING fUNDS) OF THE
PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL CODE
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection 4.30.100(a} of the Pal.o Alto Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read:
"(a) No person shall solicit funds at any time .lt
any building whe.r:e there is a posted si1Jn stating ··No
solicitors," or words to that effect, exc~pt that a
licensed solicitor may call upon an occupant of a build
i n\j vlhen he hae; rec(~ i \led express prior permission fr.om
such occupant to do so~"
~ECTlON 2. The Council finds that. this change vlill have no si.gni
f. ican.tadveT.'"se environmental i;npact.
SECTION 3. Thh> ordinance shal1 become effective upon the com
mencement of'the thirty-first day after the day of its passaye.
