HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 3469ORDINANCE NO. 3469 ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF T~CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983-84 TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR REPAIRS TO CITY-OWNED PROPERTY WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III of the Cha~ter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 27, 1983, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1983-84; and WH.EREAS, staff has detet·mined that :cepait's to the roof and boiler system and im;tallation of insulation is r.equir(~d to maintain habita­ bility of the City-owned house located on the Arastra property; NOW, TH.EREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Al t.o does ORDAIN as follows: .SEC'!'IQ~ . .J_. 'rhe sum of 'J~hirty-one Thousand Fi V<o.' Hur.dred Forty-one Dollars {$31f541) is appropriated to the Public Works Department Facil­ ities Management Division, Facilities Rehabilitation Program~ for roof and boiler replacement at the Arastra house and the Reserve for Capital Projects is correspondingly decreased. SECTION 2. The sum of Three Thousand Twenty-one Dollars ($3!021) is appropriated to the Utilities Department, Electric Utility, Conser-' vation and Solar PT.'ogram, for insulation installation at the Arastra ho:..~se, and the Reserve for.: Capital Projects is corcespondingly de­ creased. SECTION 3. The Council finds that this is not a project under the Calif~rnia Environmental Quality Act and, therefore, no environmental impa.ct assessment is necessary. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as provided -in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section 2.04~375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
