AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983-84 TO

AND TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT

WHERE~\S. pursuant to the ~rovis1ons of Section 12 of Article Ill of the
Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 27. 1983, did adopt a budget
for fiscal year 1983-84, and
WHEREAS~ Capital Improvement Project Noe 82-27 has been estab1 ished for Civic
Center structural repairs; and
WHEREAS, additional funding for capital Improvrement Project 82-27 is required
t.o prol'ide design phctse services, construction management ser'tlices; materia·ls
testing, ~nd contingency; and
WHEREAS, the Co1.mci1 of the City of Pa'lo Alto recently decide!.l to eliminate
the Civic Center s~h\Ce build-out as pro~Jided for by Capital Impr-ovement Projec.t
No. 82-30;
