ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF -'JTHE CITY OF' PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BfJDGE'.r FOR THE FISCAL YK~R 1983-84 TO
ES'rABLISH AND PROVIDE r'UNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVE
MENT PROJECT NO. 8 3-22 "BRYANT STREET BICYCt.rs BRIDGE"'
AND TO PROVIDE f'OR •rHE RECEIP'l' OF GRANT .FUNDS FHOM
THE METROPOLITAN 'rRANSPORTAT!ON COHMISS!ON
WHEREASf pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Atticle III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 27, 1983,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1983-84; and
WH~~R.EAS, the Council has dete-rmined that th.:::~ intex:-ests of the
citizens of Palo Alto will be well served by the construction of the
Bryant Street Bicycle Bridger and
WHEREAS, funding has been provided under the Transportation
Development Act by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. Capital Improvement Pr:oject No. 83-22 is hereby

SECTION 3. The Collncil finds that this projf~Ct was reviewed for
envir~nmentaf1mpact previously and no further environmental assessment
is required.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as
provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Sectivn
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
