AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983-84 TO
PROVIDt': ADDITIONAL, FUND1NG FOR APPRAISAL ~"EES IN
THE CAT ... IFORNIA AVSNUE PARI< ING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 27, 1983,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1983-84; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto has determined that
additional funds are required for appraisal fees to continue the
process on the California Avenue Parking Assessment District Study;
NOW, 'l'HEREFORg, the COL~nc:..t :::-f the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follovns:
SECTION 1. The sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1~500)
is appropriated to the Real Estate Division of the Budget and Resource
Management Department as follows:
-Professional Services $1r500
and the California Avenue Parking Assessment District Reserve Fund is
correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a p~oject under the
Califot:nia"-:Environmental Qua] ity Act and, therefor·er no eniJ'ironmentCI.l
impact assessment is necessary.
SEC'l'ION 3. This otd i nance shall become effective immE!di ate ly as
pJ:·ovided--in-Section 12 of Article III of the Charter· and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
