ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF 'fHE CITY OF PALO AI~TO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83 TO
ESTABLISH AN:' .:.>ROVIDE F'UNDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVE

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Atticle III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 21, 1982,
dirl adopt a budget for fiscal year 1982-83; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto desires to continue
a community ice skating program; and
WHBRE!AS, the Council has comm1tted to a matching qr.ant for support:
of ti1is program to a maximum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000);
NOW, THEREFORE, the Co~ncil of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. Capital Improvement Project No. 82-34 ls hereby estab-

SECTION 2. The s:um uf Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) is
her:ebyappropr iated to Capital Improvement P rojecl No. H 2-34 . "Trust
for Community Skating" and the Rese~ve for Capital Projects is corre
spondingly decreased.
SBCTION 3. The Council finds that this is not a project under the
Californ:l.a Environmental QuaU.t.y Act and, therefore, no environmental
impact assessment is necess:.ary.
SECTION 4. This Qr:dinance shall become effective immediately as
p:tovided in Section 12 of Article ~II of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
