AMENDING 'l'HE BUDGET fo'OR '!'HE FISCAL YEAR i 982-83
TO PROVIDE i\N ADDITIONAL APPROPRIA'J'ION r'OR THF.:
CON!)ERVATION/SOLAR LOAN PROGRAM
WHF.:REAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the C.ity of Palo Alto, the Council on June 21, 1982r
did adopt a budget tor fiscal year 1982-83; and
Y.lHER.EAS, the City of Palo Alto has establ isbed a low interest
conservation/solar loan program for residentsr and
WHER~AS, the City Council wishes to expand th~s program to allow
additional conservation services to be subject to lhe .loan program for
all residents;

SECTION 1. T~e sum of Two Hundred Fifty
