ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL 0~" THE CTTY OF P.\LO ALT0
A~ENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1982-83 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL f'UNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 82-06 "MITCHELL PARK TOT LOT" AND TO
PROVIDE FOR THE RECEIP'r OF GRANT FUNDS FROM THE
ROBERTI-Z'BERG URBAN OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION
PROGR.~M
WHEREAS, p~rsuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo ~lto, the Council on June 21, 1982,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1982-83J and
NHER8AS Capital 1mproveme nt Project No, B 2-08 has been established
for the Mitchell Park Tot Lot which lncludes funds for the improvement
and renovation oE the existing play area and wading pool; and
WHEREAS, the City has received approva 1 fo:c a State Depc>.r Lm0nt of
Parks and Recrealion grant for partial funding of th.e improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Al.to does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred Pive Dollars
($6~5-05) is 'appropriated to Capital Improvement Project No. 82-08
11 Mitchel.l Park 'I'ot Lot 11 and estimc.ted revenue ir:; correspondingly
increased to reflect receipt of grant funds from the State Department
of Parks and Recreation.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this project will have no sig
nificant environmentul impact.
SECTION 3. This or.d inance shall become effective immediately as
provided ~Ttl-Section 1 2 of Article I II of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
