ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET r'OR 'l'!H~ FISCAL YE~R 1982-83 TO
PROVIDE FUNDING FOR MOSQUITO A8ATE~ENT
WHEREAS, pu~suant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 21, 1982,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1982-83: and

mined that the City of Palo Alto has marshland areas and catch basins
that are actual or potential mosquito breeding areast and

NOW, THERE!FORE 1 the Council of th2 City of Palo .~llo does Ol~Dl\1N
as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of T·hb:t:y-·seven rrhoosand T'"''O 1-!undr<?d Dollars
( $37 ,200}-·is·-appropriated for Te-chnical Services in H1e Aorninistr.ation
and Genet<:!l Prc-grarn of the Parks and Open Space Division and the
Reserv~~ for Capital Projects is con:espondinq ly decr2aserL
SECTION 2. The Council finds th<:1t. this project ~·ilJ have no
s ignif icant-env ironme.ntal impa·;~t.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall b0come effective immediately as
provided in "section 12 of At·ticle III of the Char.-u:r and Secti.on
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
