ORDINANCE OF' TH8 COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF' PP..LO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 2.33.020 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE TO INCRE~.SE THE TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX FROM
SIX PERCENT TO TE;N PE.RCENT
The Council of the City of Palo Alto ~oes ORDAIN as follows:
;38CTION 1. Section 2.:>3.020 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:

SECTION 2. The Counc i 1 finds that none of the prov h~ ions of this
ordinance' wi 1 f have a significant adverse env i ronmenta.l impact.
~TIOi• 3. This o'dinance shall become effective May 1, 1983.
