P rogr am"1 pro:i ect vd t h l. n the cornmu n 1 ty cttme prevention program; and l'lHEREAS, the Office ot Criminal Justice Planninq has made gr.ant funds available for continuing the 11 Career Criminal Apprehension Program'1 ; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1 . appropriated The sum of Seventy-five Thousand ~ollars ($75,000) is to the Crime Prevention Program of the Police Department as follows: Professional Services Technical Services Supplies Equipment Purchase General Expense $26,400 23,600 550 20,900 3,550 $75,000 and estimated revenue is correspondingly incre~sed to reflect receipL of grant funds ftom the Office of Criminal Justi~e Planning. SECTION 2. The Council finds that this l.s not a proj~ct under: the California Environmental Quality Act ar.d, therefore, no environmental impact assessment is necessary. 83-22 • • SECTION 3.
