ORDINANCE NO. 3330
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMBNDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-8 2 TO
PROVIDE AN APPROPRIATION FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR A COGENERATION FACILITY AT
THE WATEa QUALITY CONTROL PLANT
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 22, 1981,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1981-82; and
WHEREAS; pre 1 im in"~ ~·y studies have concluded that a cogeneration
project is economically viable for the City of Palo Alto; and
WHERBAS, the City Council wishes to pursue the design and possible
construction of the cogeneration facility~
NOW, THERRFORE, the Council of the City of PRlo Alto does ORDAIN

SECTION 1. The sum of Six Hundred Twenty-eight Thousand One Hun
dred Fight-nollars ($628,108) is appropriated t0 the Acquit>ition and
Construction Program of the Electric Utility Fund for professional
services and the Reserve for System ImprovemPnt in the Electric Utility
Fund is correspondingly decr.eased.
