HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 3329• • ORDINANCE NO. 3329 ORDINANCE O.F THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO AMENDING TBE BUDGET FOR TBE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR REVENUE COLLECTIONS AND TO INCREASE REVENUE RECEIP""S FOR REIMBURSEMENT BY PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 22, 1981, did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1981-82: and WHERE.a,.s, the C i t~r Counc i 1 ·.dshes to enter in to an agreement with Pacific Telephone and Telegraph for the City to become a bill collec­ tion site for the telt:phone company for a ninety-day trial period; and WHEREAS, Pacific Telephone and Telegraph will reimburse City for each transaction handled and administrative expenses: NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The sum of Two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($2,200) is appropr1ated to thE> City Treasurer's Office as follows: Rev~~~~Collections Program Temporary Salaries Supplies $1,680 520 $2,206 Esti.mated revenue is incceased by Four Thousand One Hund~ed Twenty Dollar~ ($4,120) and the Reserve for Capital Projects is increased by One Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars ($1,920). SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a project for pur­ poses of the California Environmental Quality At~ and, th~refore, no environmental impact assessment is necessacy. SEC'l'ION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section 2.04~375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
