ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI't'Y OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08.040 OF THE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF
PROPERTY KNOWN AS NORTHWEST CORNER OF PAGE MILL ROAD
AND BIRCH STREET AND f_,QT IN 400 BLOCK OF SHERIDAN
FROM PF to RM-5
The Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal
Code, the 11 Zoning Map," is hereby amended by chanq ing the
zoning of certain property known as (1) Northwest Corner of
Page Mill Road and Birch Street and (2) Lot in 400 Block of
Sheridan (South Side) from PF (Public Facility District) to
RM-5 (High Density ~ultiple-Family Residence District) as shown
on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated
herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The Council hereby finds that this chanqe will
have no significant adverse environmental imp~ct.
SECTION 3. The Council finds that the rezoning of the
above prQpert y is consistent w H: h i..ite adopted Comprehensive
Plan of the City of Palo Alto.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall ~ecome e~tective upon the
commencement of the thirty-first da.y after the day of its
passagE:.
