ORDINANCE NO. 3325
ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THR CITY OF PALO ALTO
REPE~LING CHAPTERS 2.10 AND 2.11 OF THE PALO ALTO
MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, in 1974 the City of Palo Alto by Ordinance No. 2774 en
acted as ChaptAr 2.10 conflict of interest guidelines pursuant to Titt~
1, Division 4.5, Section 3626 of the Government Code; and by Ordinance
No. 2776 enacted as Chapter 2.11 rules governing disclosure of finan
cial interests pursuant to Title 1, Division 4.5, Section 3704 of the
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, on May 1, 1975, Division 4.5 of Title 1 of the Government
Code b(.~came inoperative pursuant to Section 3800 of the Government
Code; and
\~HEl~EAS, the provisions of Title 1, Division 4.5 of the Government
Code have bet.~n supers{~ded by Chapter 7 of Title 9 of the Governm8nt
Code and the City of Palo Alto has enact-ed in Chapter 2.09 of 'I'itle 2
guidelines pursuant thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows~
SECTIO~ 1. The Coll\"C i 1 hereby repeals Chapters 2. 10 and 2. 11 of
Title 2 of the Palo Alto ~unicipal Code in their entir~ty.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that tl1is is not a project under the
California Environmenta:i. Quality Act and, therefor:2!, no environmental
impact assessment is necessary.
SECTION 3. Th ... s or-dinance shall become effectivf~ upon the com-
mencement of the thirt~r-first day after the day of its pass0ge.
