ORDINANCE NO. 3323
ORDINP.NCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 TO
PROVIDE FUNDING IN THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT BUDGET FOR
PURCHASE OF IMPERMEABL8 FILL MATERIAL
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 22, 1981,
did adopt a budget for fisc~l year 1981-82~ and
WHEREAS, bids have been requested in order to purchase impermeable
fill material to enable closure of the R€fuse area; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed such bids and has determined that an
acceptable offer to contract has been tendered~
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
.SECTION ·j. The sum of Two Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand One Hun
dred bol 1 -r3 ($278,100) is appropriated to the Refuse Division, Public
wo~ks Department as follows:
Systems ImErovement Subprogr~
-Materials $278,100
and the Refuse Reser~e Fund is corresponaingly decreased.
SECTI0~ 2. The Council finds that this is not a project for pur
poses of the -California Environmental Quality Act and, therefor~, no
environmental assessment is necessary.
SEC'l'ION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediatE~ly as
provided ln Section 1'l of Article lii of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
