ORDINANCE NO. 3316
ORDINANCE OF '!'HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 TO
PROVIDE FUNDING FOR LANDSCAPE AND GARDENING SERVICES
AT THE TERMAN SCHOOL SITE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
0f the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 22, 1981,
did adopt a budget f.or fiscal year 1981-82: and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo Alto and the ::'ala Alto Unified School
District are negotiating for the City's acquitision of the closed
Terman School site: and
WHEREAS, grounds and building rna in tenance services are required

WHRREAS, in this interim period, the School District has agreed to
pe :r: fon,; ;..;c• i ld ing rna in tenance services and the City has agreed to pro
vide landscape and gardening services;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto does ORDAI~
as follows:
SECTION 1. The sum of Fifteen Th~usand Dollars ($15,000) is
approp:cl..'lted to the Parks Maintenance subprogram of the Parks and Open
Space Management Division for professional services and the ~eserve for
Capital Projects is c,rrespondingly decreased.
SECTI0N 2. The Council finds that this is net a project for the
pur!.)ose of the California Environr:-.ental Quality Act and no environ
mental assessment is ~:cessary.
SECTION 3. This ocd inance shall becomt.' e f f P~~ i:. i ve immeu .;.a, t.e ly as
provided 1n Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of tha Palo Alto Municipal Code.
