ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OP THE CITY Of-' PALO ALTO
AMENDING SECTION 18.08. 040 OF ·rHE PALO ALTO MUNICIPAL
CODE (THE ZONING MAP) TO CHANGE THE CLASS I Fl CA'.t·ION OF
PROPERTY KNOWN AS 390 PAGE M.ILL ROAD FROM GH TO CN
AND PROPERTY KNO'W"N AS 440-4-42 PAGE MILL ROAD FROM
R-1 TO RM-5
ThP. Council o~ the City of Palo Alto does ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 18.08.040 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code, the
"Zoning Map," is hereby amended by changing the zoning of certain prop
erty known a3 390 Page Mi 11 Road from GM (General Manul'acturing Dis
trict) to CN (Neighborhood Commercial District); property known as 440-
442 Page ~ill Roa& from R-1 (S5.ngle-family Residence District) to RM-5
(High Density Multiple-family Residence District) as shown on the map
attachE>d hereto marked Exhibit "A" and ii1corporated herein by refer
en~e •

SECTION 3. The Council finds that the rezoning of the above prop
erty is cons1stent with the adopted Co1iof·!:'ehensive Plan of the City ot
Palo Alto.
SECTION 4. 'l'hi.s ordi:1ance shall beccme effe~:tive ltpon tht; com-
mencement of the thirty-first day after the day of its passage.
