ORDINANCE NO. 3309
O~DINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL VEAR 1981-82 TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 80-13 "ANALYSIS OF NEED FOR STRUCTURAL
REPAIRS TO CIVIC CENTER"
WHEREAS, pursuan~ to the provisions of Section 12 of Article III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Council on June 22, 1981,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1981-82; and
WHEREAS, Capital Improvement Project No. 80-13 l"las been estab
lished for "Analysis of Need for Structural Repairs to Civic Center":
and
WHEREAS, a preliminary analysis of the Civic Center structure has
been performed~ and
WHEREASr the City of Palo Alto wish1~s to furttH:r analyze the
building for seisrnic safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Altt) does ORDAIN

SECTION 1. The sum of Ninety-three Thousand Dollars ($93,000) is
appropriated to Capital Improvement Pr:)ject No. 30-13 "Analysis of Need
for Structural Repairs to Civic Center 11 and the Reserve for Capital
Projects is correspondingly decreased.
SECTION 2. The Council finds that this is not a project for pur-
poses of thecalifot·nia Environmental Quality Act and no environmental
assessment is necessary.
Sc~CIJ'li:'.ON 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediateiy as
provided in Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 cf the Palo Alto M~nicipal Code.
