ORDINANCE 0~ THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO
AMENDING THE BUDGET fOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82 T0
PROVJ.DE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 79-42 "BAYLANDS BICYCLE PATH" AND TO
PROVIDE FOR RECEIPT OF REVENUE FROM THE S'l'ATE
COASTAL CONSERVANCY
WHEREAS, pursuar.t to the provisions of Section 12 of Arti(le III
of the Charter of the City of Palo Alto, the Cvuncil on June 22, 1981,
did adopt a budget for fiscal year 1981-82; and
WHERCAS, Capital Improvement Project No. -,9-42 has bPen estab
lished for ~Baylands Bicycle Path"; anti
WHEREAS, the State Coastdl Conservancy has made grant funds avail
able for construction of a bike path along Adobe Creek; and
WHEREAS, the City of Palo ~lto wishes to includ~ this construction

NOWf THEi\EFORE, the Council of the Cit:y of Palo Alto does ORDAIN
as follows:
SECTIO.K 1. The sum of 'r"'cnty-three 'I'housancl Eight Hundred Dollars
( $23,800)-:ls-appropriated to Capital Improvement: Project No. 79-42

creased ~o reflect receipt of grant funds ~rom the State Coastal Con

sr;C'I'ION 2. The e nv Leon menta 1 impact assessment which was ;.re
viously performpd will not be affected by this change.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately as
provided 1n Section 12 of Article III of the Charter and Section
2.04.375 of the Palo Alto Municipal Code.
